Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 2, 2026
Last updated: August 26, 2026
untethrd ("untethrd," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by ICK Ventures LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit getuntethrd.com, use our free tools (including the Exit Multiple Estimator and other calculators), book a call with us, or engage us as a client.
By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact information (name, email, phone number) when you book a call, fill out a qualification form, or contact us
- Business information you share during the Operations Audit call or through our intake forms (e.g., revenue, team size, your stated operational bottleneck)
- Payment information when you become a client (processed by Stripe, see Section 4, we do not store your full card details ourselves)
- Any information you submit through free tools like the Exit Multiple Estimator (e.g., industry, revenue or profit figures). These calculations happen in your browser, and the inputs are not stored by us unless you separately submit them through a form
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use getuntethrd.com, so we can improve the site and our content. This uses cookies to collect aggregated information such as which pages you visit, how you arrived at the site (e.g., search, a direct link, LinkedIn), and general device and location information (e.g., country or region, not your exact location). We do not use this data for ad personalization or retargeting, and we do not combine it with the contact information you submit through our forms. If that changes, this section will be updated to reflect it. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's browser opt-out tool or your browser's cookie settings.
Information we access while delivering services (clients only)
If you become a client, we may need access to your business's tools, accounts, and data (e.g., your CRM, calendar, forms, spreadsheets), either to build and run systems on your behalf (Done For You), or on a limited, temporary basis during advisory and debugging sessions (Concierge). In this context, we act as a data processor on your behalf: the data remains yours, we access it only to perform the agreed work, and we do not use it for any purpose outside your engagement with us. This is governed in more detail by your signed agreement (Client Services Agreement or Concierge Agreement, as applicable).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to inquiries and book/manage calls
- Personalize communication (e.g., referencing your stated bottleneck in follow-up emails)
- Provide, run, and improve the services you've hired us for
- Process payments and manage your account
- Send you the free resources you've requested (guides, calculator results, email sequences you've opted into by booking a call)
- Understand how our website and tools are used, so we can improve them
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Email, LinkedIn, and Text Communications
If you book a call with us, you'll receive a series of emails related to that call (confirmation, educational content, reminders) as a normal part of the booking process.
We also reach prospective clients directly through cold email and LinkedIn outreach, including automated, personalized follow-up. Every commercial email we send includes our physical address and a working unsubscribe link, honored promptly, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. If you ask us to stop, we will.
We do not currently contact leads or clients by text message, but plan to in the future. Before any texting campaign goes live, we will only text people who have given prior consent, every message will include instructions to opt out (e.g., replying STOP), and this policy will be updated with the specifics.
You can unsubscribe from any of these channels at any time using the link or instructions provided, or by replying and asking us to stop.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third parties to operate our business. Each has access to a limited slice of information necessary for their function:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing |
| Google Workspace | Email, calendar, document storage |
| Fillout | Qualification form intake |
| Calendly | Call booking and scheduling |
| Wistia | Video hosting (VSL) |
| Netlify | Hosting for interactive tools (e.g., Exit Multiple Estimator) |
| Vercel | Website hosting |
| Framer | Hosting for the audit and path funnel subdomains |
| Google Analytics | Website traffic and usage analytics. No ad personalization or remarketing enabled |
| Lemlist | Email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns |
| GitHub | Code repository hosting for systems we build |
| Anthropic (Claude / Claude Code) | AI-assisted development used in building and maintaining systems |
| Supabase | Backend database infrastructure for systems we build and run |
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf. We select providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.
5. Data Retention
If you become a client, we retain your information for the duration of the relationship, plus 7 years afterward for financial and legal recordkeeping purposes. If you're a prospect who never becomes a client, we retain your information for 24 months before deleting it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls, secure hosting, and limiting data access to what's necessary to perform our work. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal/contractual retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including via the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor when we detect it from your browser. We do not currently sell or share personal information, so this has no practical effect today, but we'll honor the signal if that changes.
If you're an Indiana resident, you have these rights under the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia have similar rights under their states' privacy laws, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and certain profiling; we do not currently engage in either.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@getuntethrd.com
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
